At Jeugdbescherming West, no two days are the same. Every family and every situation is different. Social and political developments also affect the work. But one thing does not change: the child or young person is always the focus. That is why we have flexible employees who are passionate about their work, who stand firmly on their own two feet. In order to properly equip employees for dynamic work, our organisation pays constant attention to development and training.

Our locations

Employees of Jeugdbescherming West are committed every day to a safe climate for young people to grow up in. They do this at the following locations: The Hague, Dordrecht, Leiden, Gouda, Middelburg and Zoetermeer. They take action if the safety and development of a young people is at stake or if a young people exhibits criminal behaviour. Our locations also have employees with a support function, such as secretaries, phone operators/receptionists and policy officers.

Our support departments

Our support departments are housed on location in The Hague. This concerns the following departments: finance, HR, IT & facilities, legal affairs, policy, board secretariat and communication.
