Juvenile rehabilitation measure
Your child has come into contact with the police or the justice system
Your child has come into contact with the police or the justice system, for example because of absenteeism from school, theft, burglary or robbery. The juvenile court can then impose a penalty. This can be a fine, a training order, a community service order or juvenile detention. In addition, the juvenile court can decide to impose a juvenile rehabilitation order.
Your family will then be accompanied by a youth protector from Jeugdbescherming West. This youth protector supervises the (special) conditions imposed by the juvenile court.
